Ance - Solution

There are hundreds of different products for acne. There are cleansers and creams, there are lotions and soap. Everywhere you look, on television, on the internet, you will find a million products. There are so many things! Below are some tips for figuring out what the right solution is when trying to win the fight against acne.
In the line of skin care products, there are hundreds of possibilities for acne treatment. Finding the right solution to your problem comes down to knowledge of the best products that work. When searching for a cleanser or cream, it is important to remember the type of active ingredients commonly found in acne creams that are the most effective. There are two main solutions. The first is known as Benzoyl Peroxide. This is a great solution because it helps to keep pores clean. The other is Salicylic Acid, which kills bacteria inside of the pores. These are both effective on mild and moderate acne and a cream with 2% of either is usually a great solution. If your acne happens to be more severe, finding a cream with the maximum dosage of 10% is a far more likely solution, and this should be discussed with a dermatologist to be sure that it is both safe and effective for the acne at hand.
The type of acne solution you chose however should depend mainly on your skin type. If you tend to be oily skinned look toward bottles and creams that contain alcohol as an active ingredient. This will help to dry out some of the oil in the skin, leading to less sebum production the pores. Creams, foams, and gels can also be used for normal to oily skin. Though the creams do offer more moisterization, and should be avoided by those with oily skin. If you skin tends to be on the dry side, an ointment would be the best solution as the ointments can be a little greasy and are not good for those who have plenty of oil in their skin, even if skin is on the normal side.
Follow these guidelines and hopefully a solution can be found to help combat your acne. If you have trouble knowing what your skin type is or knowing what will work for you, it is best to contact a dermatologist who can answer these questions as well as many others. Know your skin and figure out your solution.
